WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SEX & INTIMACY COACH AND A SEX THERAPIST?
As a Sex & Intimacy coach, what sets me apart from marriage counselors and traditional sex therapists is that I am a trained expert specializing in somatic sex coaching and erotic intimacy. I am not restricted by the limitations around touch like traditional therapists. On the contrary, I am CA state certified and professionally trained to include touch when it can be of help to my clients. There is a place for talk therapy and it may not always be the most effective choice for sexual concerns. I work with many traditional therapists who refer clients to me for this very reason. If you are a therapist seeking help for your clients with regard to sexual concerns, please feel free to get in touch with me. CAN A SEX COACH HELP ME WITH SEXUAL TRAUMA?
IS THERE ANY TOUCH INVOLVED IN SEX & INTIMACY COACHING?
Sex and intimacy coaching may include somatic exercises that include non-sexual fully clothed touch. Couples usually practice exercises on each other.
IS THERE ANY TOUCH INVOLVED IN SEXOLOGICAL BODYWORK?
Sexological bodywork involves gentle intimate one-way touch practiced on a massage table. Sexological bodywork is a CA state certified modality. For more information about how I use Certified Sexological Bodywork in my practice, read more.

DO YOU OFFER SESSIONS IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
Yes. I offer sessions in French, Spanish and German.
It took me a very long time to find a therapist that I would feel comfortable enough with to talk about my personal life. It took me even longer to try and find a sex therapist. I am so glad that Dr. Namita is that person.
As well as being an exceptional therapist, she is also a compassionate and caring human being. She helps me feel like I matter, and supports me in moving through problems I have. Her body oriented approach really helped me move forward and overcome some issues I had been dealing with for a long time. ~ RC, San Rafael
